Heiligenhafen—the "Sundeck of the Baltic"

... It’s located on the Baltic peninsula Wagrien, between the Bay of Lübeck and the Bay of Hohwachter on the mainland of Schleswig-Holstein, opposite the Baltic island of Fehmarn.

Our Tourism Service Offices are located directly in the Strand Resort Marina Heiligenhafen (from December 2015) and also at Berg Str. 43 in Heiligenhafen.

By car

By car you will travel from the south via Hamburg on the A1 Autobahn towards Puttgarden. This Autobahn will take you directly to Heiligenhafen, practically "to the front door".
Our visitors from the east or southeast will use the A20 Autobahn and will join the A1 just before Lübeck, driving on from there towards Puttgarden.

By train

The German train information service can tell you timetables for trains, but also local trams and buses, and how long you will need to walk from the nearest stop.

Every day from 8.00 am to 7.30 pm there is an on-call shuttle bus that will pick you up at the station in Oldenburg i. H. [in Holstein] at the time you choose, and drop you off at any bus stop in Heiligenhafen. More information at: +49 (0) 4362 - 90 52 5 or here.
